a campaign in Holland led by the King, Maëstricht, main town of the Brabant, was invaded.
On the 25th of June 1673, dARTAGNAN, called for reinforcement, met his
death, at the head of his troops, during a fierce assault. "D'Artagnan and glory have the same coffin" Hearing of his death, LOUIS XIV shed
tears on his courageous Musketeer and praised his merits.
