A tale : Jeremy

Tu veux inventer la suite d’une histoire ? Alors, laisse-toi guider !

Read the beginning of this story :
Don’t forget : to understand a text, you don’t have to understand all the words ! Use the context and...your brains (!) to help you !

Jeremy - A. Sanchez
Jeremy was a young boy of thirteen.
He was not very tall, not very slim, not very good at school but he was clever, good-tempered, affectionate and very nosy.
He lived in Harlem, in a very old house, with his parents, his two elder sisters and his little brother, Sam, who was only four years old.

On a Sunday rainy afternoon, as he was doing nothing special and was carelessly rummaging in the wall cupboard of his room, tumbling down his old toys and games that had been piled up there for years, he noticed -just behind his old Cluedo box- that the wall paper was torn.
He looked closer, opening his dark eyes very wide. The partition was not made of bricks at that place ; there was a piece of wood instead.
Surprised, Jeremy tore a larger piece of wall-paper and a small wooden door appeared. As he touched it delicately, it opened a little...He pressed on it firmly and it widely opened !

His heart was frantically beating ! He stretched his neck to look inside.... Nothing ! Just darkness and nothing ! It looked like the entrance of a tunnel. It was large enough for him...even after the double cheeseburger he had had for lunch !

Without the slightest hesitation, Jeremy crept into the passage and vanished...As if the wall had gulped him down.

Now, try to answer the following questions : Who ? Where ? When ?
Sum up what happens to the hero in one sentence.
What could be a possible title for this story ?
...........................................

Now,YOU are the writer !!!
Imagine....What will happen next ? ( Tu dois imaginer les peripéties qui vont suivre puis le dénouement, la situation finale de l’histoire.
...........................................

A little help ? try to think... What is Jeremy going to find at the end of the tunnel ? Who is he going to meet ? Will he be able to turn back to his room ?
Don’t forget you’re writing a story...You must use the past tense...and create a little suspense !
